Jeff McIntyre
Jeff joined and became a Partner in Aries, with John McIntyre (his Dad) in May of 1985. Jeff, as VP of Operations, ran the operational side of the business, allowing John the time to focus on sales. Jeff's vision for Aries was to become a full-service, global transportation provider. Jeff's initial emphasis was on North American Services (air and ground), for needed growth and stability. By 1990, Jeff began diversification, adding International Services (Air, Ocean and Imports), as originally envisioned. In 1995, Jeff became President and opened his first, of many, branch offices. In this same year, he introduced Logistics and Warehousing Services, to complement the full suite of global transportation services, already being provided. In 2004, Jeff became the President and CEO of Aries and began planning for the relocation of the company's global headquarters to facilitate further expansion and efficiencies. Jeff and the entire team, relocated into their new “home”, in April of 2009. Since 2009, Jeff has continued to focus on healthy and manageable growth for the organization, its customers, and the most valuable asset - the employees. Jeff is a native Houstonian with a beautiful wife and eight awesome kids. His hobbies include aviation, playing golf, church and spending time with his family.
Bryan Bartels
Bryan Bartels is the Corporate Counsel, Controller and Chief Information Officer. Bryan oversees Aries' legal, financial and information technology matters. He joined Aries team in 2013, after previously working at General Electric. In 2004, he graduated from Marquette, with a Degree in Economics and Computer Science. In 2008, he earned a JD and MBA at The Marquette Law School and The Marquette Graduate School of Management. Bryan is registered patent attorney. Bryan is an avid reader, lifetime learner, enjoys tinkering with computers and scuba diving. Bryan lives in Houston and is married with 3 beautiful children.
Carey Treadwell
Carey serves as Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Aries Worldwide Logistics. He leads the company’s commercial growth initiatives, aligning sales, operations, and pricing strategy to drive sustainable revenue and long-term profitability. Carey plays a key role in negotiating strategic customer partnerships, evaluating market opportunities, and strengthening revenue management practices to ensure commercial execution supports broader company objectives.
With 35 years of global supply chain experience, Carey brings a balanced background in both commercial and operational leadership, having worked primarily with Fortune 300 to 3,000-scale organizations. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Logistics and Transport and a member of the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals.
Carey and his wife have four grown children and one granddaughter.
Adam Brower
Adam Brower is Vice President of Growth and Revenue Operations at Aries Worldwide Logistics, with a background that blends technology, digital marketing, and operational strategy. Over the course of his career, he has helped build impactful solutions for brands including Compaq, HP, AT&T, Weatherford, Luby’s, and Fuddruckers.
Known for calm confidence and a systems-minded approach, Adam leads with clarity, curiosity, and a deep passion for solving complex problems. Outside of work, he enjoys astrophotography, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his wife in New Ulm, Texas.
Sandy Lance
Although Sandy joined the Aries team in 2022, her journey in logistics began over 30 years ago. She entered the industry in a temporary role, doing ocean documentation. From there, she transitioned into management, overseeing an automotive client importing from Mexico. Sandy was responsible for ensuring her team completed all necessary clearances for these imports and began to find an interest in this process. She is married with 4 children and in her free time she enjoys camping and watching her youngest child play golf.
John Frisbee
In 2003, John was asked by his sister to help move some people, their desks, and set up computers at a small business. That small business, Aries Worldwide Logistics, just so happened to launch him into his 21-year-long (and counting) career. John’s experience in logistics, risk management, inventory, and supply chain management has led him to his current role as Director of Corporate Assets and Facilities. Growing up, he attended Catholic School in New Orleans where his support for the New Orleans sports franchises began. After attending high school in Houston, Texas he completed his college schooling in Southern California. Outside of work, John finds joy in spending time with family and taking part in church activities and volunteering. With hobbies like ancestry and history research, spiritual studies and home renovations, John stays busy!
Julie Carrell
With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Julie Carrell joined the team at Aries in November of 2023. In her previous role as Human Resources Director with a manufacturing company, she successfully led initiatives related to Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training and Development, HR Technology, and Employee Engagement Improvement, among others. Julie's educational background includes a bachelor’s in human resources management from Sam Houston State University. She grew up in the Spring Klein area. She lives in Magnolia with her fiancé, Jason. She has one daughter, Shelby, who is currently studying Wildlife Biology at Texas State University and will graduate in December of 2024. On the weekends, Julie likes to try and see her daughter while in school and watch College Softball. Each year, she aims to travel somewhere new.
Jose Guzman
Jose Guzman started with Aries in 2014 and currently acts as the Regional Director of Mexico. With over 15 years of experience in the Logistics, Transportation, and FTZ Warehousing industry, Guzman has leveraged his extensive background into a Logistics Management position. Dedicated to process improvement and cost containment initiatives. Extensive background in management with proven results in production and safety while maintaining excellent Supply Chain Management.
Nikhil Nawaz
Nikhil currently serves as the Director of Information Technology. He started his journey with the logistics industry with Aries in 2012 and has been a part of the team ever since. After obtaining his degree in Electrical Engineering, he joined Aries as his first job out of college as a software administrator. On his days off, you can find Nikhil traveling or doing landscape photography although, day-to-day he enjoys gaming and reading science-fiction or fantasy books.
Garrett Turney
Garrett Turney is Director of Client Experience at Aries Worldwide Logistics, where he focuses on strengthening the customer experience through responsiveness, consistency, and service leadership. He brings a people-first approach to the role, along with a strong commitment to building trust and delivering a higher standard of support for clients.
Outside of work, Garrett is a talented guitarist and longtime musician who has played in a band and continues to play for his church. His passion for music reflects the same dedication, discipline, and heart he brings to his work and leadership.
Jorge Tavares
Jorge Tavares is Director of NORTAM and Warehouse Logistics at Aries Worldwide Logistics, where he brings deep operational experience, long-tenured company knowledge, and a disciplined, systems-oriented approach to execution. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for process consistency, practical problem-solving, and trusted relationship management across teams, partners, and clients.
Known for his steady leadership and commitment to getting the details right, Jorge plays an important role in driving operational excellence and supporting high-quality outcomes for customers. Outside of work, he enjoys baseball and is someone who values consistency, teamwork, and long-term commitment in both business and life.
Todd Northrup
Todd Northrup is the Director of Commercial Execution at Aries Worldwide Logistics, where he leads commercial alignment between customers, sales, pricing, and operations to deliver reliable, cost‑effective logistics solutions. With deep experience across air, ocean, domestic and multimodal freight, Todd focuses on disciplined commercial execution, risk‑aware decision‑making, and building long‑term customer partnerships that drive measurable value.
Outside of work, Todd enjoys spending time with his family. His wife is a school teacher/administrator, and together they support their two daughters currently in medical school and their 11‑year‑old son, who competes in year‑round competitive swimming.
